Last updated: 25 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Kaku (“Kaku”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your
information when you use the Kaku website (kaku.software), the Kaku application (app.kaku.software) and the
Kaku WordPress plugin (together, the “Service”). Kaku is operated by [Legal entity — to confirm],
[Registered address — to confirm]. If you have any questions, contact us at
hello@kaku.software.

1. Information we collect

  • Account & contact data — name, email address and the credentials you use to sign in.
  • Billing data — plan, billing country and the limited payment details handled by our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Site & usage data — the WordPress site(s) you connect, the tools you use, settings and logs needed to operate and improve the Service.
  • Content you process — the topics, keywords, prompts, pages and other content you submit so Kaku can generate, optimize or translate it.
  • Technical data & cookies — IP address, device/browser information and cookies used for authentication, security and analytics.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide, maintain and secure the Service and your account.
  • To generate, optimize, schedule and translate content at your request.
  • To process payments, manage your subscription and your 14-day free trial.
  • To provide support and send service-related communications.
  • To analyse and improve the Service and develop new features.
  • To comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse.

3. AI processing

To deliver its features, Kaku sends the content and instructions you provide to third-party AI / large-language-model
providers that generate or analyse text and images on our behalf. We share only what is necessary to perform the
task you requested. We do not sell your content, and we instruct our providers not to use it to train their
general models where that option is available.

4. How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us run Kaku, including: AI/LLM providers, our payment
processor, hosting and infrastructure providers, email and analytics providers. We may also disclose information
where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for
the period required to meet our legal, accounting and security obligations. You can ask us to delete your account
data at any time.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or
port your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these
rights, email hello@kaku.software.

7. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where it is, we rely on appropriate
safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect it.

8. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage
is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and notify you of incidents where required by law.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date above.
